Get your lightsticks ready, greater Johnson City community! A massive celebration of Korean music is headed our way, and it’s promising to be unlike anything the local arts scene has hosted before. On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, the Martin Center for the Arts will transform into a high-octane arena for artists Forever K-Pop in “A Celebration Concert”.

For students and K-pop fans in the Tri-Cities, this isn’t just a small tribute show. According to the ETSU website, the concert is described as a “next-level, fan-forward K-Pop celebration concert that fuses cinematic spectacle with arena-style production.” If you’ve ever watched a BTS or BlackPink world tour on YouTube and wished you could experience that level of energy without driving eight hours to a major city, this might be your best chance! The concert’s purpose seems to be to act as a bridge between the world of cinema and live performance.
