Early in March, Swig opened its doors in Johnson City for its grand opening and was welcomed with a line overflowing out into the road. The “Home of the Dirty Soda” has continued to stay busy throughout the past month and into April.

Swig defines their Dirty Soda as “your favorite soda with a customized mix of flavors, fresh fruits, purees and creams,” creating a wide selection of possibilities for their customers to enjoy.

Swig offers their signature Dirty Sodas, as well as water-based Refreshers, Reviver energy drinks, hot chocolate and special seasonal options. The Dirty Sodas, Refreshers, and Revivers all have a “Create Your Own” option for complete customization in addition to their wide variety of listed drinks. Their menu also includes snack options such as pretzel bites and cookies.

Some of Swig’s most popular drink options include the Texas Tab, the Strawberry Breeze and the Shark Attack.

“I wanted to create a place where people felt happy from the moment they pulled up to the window – somewhere fun, welcoming and unforgettable,” said Swig’s founder, Nicole Robison, on their website.

Robison started Swig in 2010 with their first location in Utah. In 2025, Swig reached over 100 locations across the country and continues to grow.

The Johnson City Swig is located at 2424 N. Roan St., at a former Captain D’s location.
