ETSU’s Institute for Continued Learning will offer a wide range of seminars and activities during the fall session beginning Tuesday, Sept. 27.
Participants will be able to learn something new from local artist Nancy Earnest’s session, “Be Creative with Watercolor,” to ETSU’s Dr. Anthony Cavender on “Appalachian Kitchen Medicine.”
Among the many other offerings are “Authentic Happiness” by Carl Petering, who directs pastoral care at the Johnson City Medical Center, and “Shakespeare and Country Music” by ETSU’s Dr. Robert Sawyer.
To give new members an opportunity to become acquainted with the group, the ICL will host an informal coffee Sept. 27 from 9-10 a.m. on the campus of the James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center in the Carnegie Library, Building 17.
