What a better way to get into the Halloween spirit than by taking photos of pets in cute costumes?

The Animal Health and Science Student Organization hosted a photo booth on Wednesday, Oct. 20 in the Quad. They provided a cute fall scenery backdrop and Halloween costume options for the animals. For the low price of $5, students could have their photo made with their pet, creating a memory to last on past their college lives.

Kyra Holt, the event coordinator, spoke on the fun attributes to the event space.

“We set up a small booth area and had a Fall scene with props, some pumpkins, mums, and fodder. This was a fun way to make the area cute for the owners and their pets.”

ETSU’s Animal Health and Science Student Organization club is devoted to the world of science and welfare of animals. It is open to anyone interested in the health and well-being of animals and is a great resource for pre-veterinary students. Students looking for hands-on animal experience, or even if the student just has a love for animals, are welcomed by the Animal Health and Science Student Organization club.

Animals are a big part of ETSU’s campus life; Pepper the University Police Department’s therapy dog, Koda Bear the therapy dog and even the weird fascination everyone has with campus squirrels. Organizations like The Animal Health and Science Student Organization help campus to look out for the betterment of the animals that make our campus so unique.
