When thinking back on early 2000s pop culture, it’s hard to think of a more iconic celebrity that defined our childhoods than Lindsay Lohan. Although Lohan may be most well known for her role in “Mean Girls,” her roles throughout the years have made quite the impressive and bingeable filmography.

As finals season looms ahead, here’s a list of some of Lohan’s best movies that you can watch when you need a brain break from all the study sessions and late nights.

“The Parent Trap” (1998)

The first movie on our list is also the first film Lohan starred in. A remake of the original 1961 film, “The Parent Trap” follows the tale of twin sisters who, after being separated shortly after their birth, are reunited during a fateful meeting at their summer camp. I think I can say with a level of certainty that the number of times my sister and I watched this movie growing up is at least in the double digits. There’s hardly a better comfort movie out there to choose, and bonus it’s got not only one iconic Lindsay Lohan character, but two!

“Life Size” (2000)

Before there was Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie,” there was “Life Size.” The film stars Lohan as a young girl whose “Eve” doll (played by Tyra Banks) turns into a real person overnight. This is another movie that I must have watched a dozen times as a kid, and sometimes that burst of nostalgia can be exactly what you need for a movie night.

“Freaky Friday” (2003)

Another Disney remake of an old classic, “Freaky Friday” features Jamie Lee Curtis in the role she should have won an Oscar for. A mother and daughter that can’t see eye to eye magically switch bodies overnight, and must figure out how to undo the curse before it’s too late. It’s a comedy that will make you nostalgic for the early 2000s and the days that Chad Michael Murray magically appeared in every movie.

“Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen” (2004)

Okay, this is Lindsay Lohan’s most iconic role. The movie follows Lola, a teenage girl who is forced to move from New York City to the suburbs where she finds herself struggling to fit in. With Megan Fox in the supportive cast, choreographed dance numbers, and Stu Wolff (Harry Styles before Harry Styles even existed), this film is camp in the best possible way and one you definitely want to rewatch.
