In just her second full weekend of collegiate volleyball competition, ETSU’s freshman middle blocker Callie Kiselich was voted to the Nike/Comfort Suites Classic All-Tournament Team.
The team consisted of players from all schools participating in the weekend competition including Eastern Kentucky, Lipscomb, Evansville and ETSU. Kiselich posted 30 kills for the weekend helping lead ETSU to their first win of 2004.
From the middle blocker position, Kiselich led ETSU in a 3-0 sweep of Lipscomb with 12 kills, while posting 14 against Evansville adding four against host Eastern Kentucky. Seven matches into the 2004 season, the freshman has posted 58 kills en route to a 2.32 kills per game average adding three aces and 19 total blocks playing 25 games in a Lady Bucs uniform.
The Lady Bucs will return to action Sept. 17 when they travel to the Mortar Board Premier hosted by Purdue University. Over the weekend ETSU will face the Kentucky Wildcats and Central Michigan University as well as host Purdue.
Their first match is slated for 5 p.m. Friday against the Wildcats.
