Fiber arts and the annual B.F.A./M.F.A. exhibitions will be shown at East Tennessee State University’s Slocumb Galleries in Ball Hall in upcoming weeks.
The fibers exhibition features textile works from undergraduate and graduate students in the fibers program of the ETSU Department of Art and Design. It will be on display from Nov. 14-Dec. 2.
The B.F.A./M.F.A. exhibits, each one week long, are part of degree requirements for art students, who select their best work to show prior to graduation.
Bachelor of fine arts degree candidates whose work will be featured include Sarah Thomas, graphic design, Nov. 14-18; Amanda Rasnake, graphic design, Nov. 28-Dec. 2; Kelly Burnhart, painting (large-format portraits), Dec. 5-9; and Ben Burris, printmaking, and Scott Faxon, illustration (comic book storyboards), Dec. 12-16.
Works by master of fine arts candidate James Livingstone, graphic design, will be on display Dec. 5-9.
These exhibits are free and open to the public.
