Now that it is getting warmer, there are going to be a lot of little creatures running around. Though many people find insects annoying or creepy, there is a spiritual meaning behind them, like what it means when you see a spider.
For the longest time, I was absolutely terrified of spiders until I learned what it means when one crosses your path. Most often, spiders have been associated with creativity and fate. Spiders are respected since they represent the divine feminine. This is because when they spin their web, they create something out of absolutely nothing, the same way women create life. They are seen as a powerful message to trust in oneself, and that you have control over what you make.
Having a spider cross your path can mean that you need to take control of your life, and they are there to encourage you to weave your dreams into a reality. This means taking responsibility for what you can control.
As for creativity, it said that spiders are keepers of knowledge, of which we might not understand at the moment. They are full of wisdom, and there have been compositions created due to spiders and how important they are within ecosystems, how they can make or break whether one is going to survive. They play a crucial role in people’s lives, even though many do not recognize it.
In some instances, people have seen spiders also as a form of protection; if you see a spider, it is protecting you from harm’s way. This originated when people believed that spiderwebs in doorways were there to keep away unwanted visitors.
Ultimately, after seeing a spider, it is your decision what it means to you. It can mean absolutely nothing, or I could suggest that you take a look at your own life and see if there’s something that you need to be doing to create your own destiny. On the other hand, seeing a spider with its web can make you feel stuck. For example, being in something that might not be good for you, which is limiting your life.
After reading all this, I might not have changed your mind on whether you find spiders unsettling, but ultimately, they are living beings with a bigger impact than we might believe. They are not here to harm us, and their history shows how protective they are, whether that be spiritually or instinctively.
