ETSU men’s golfer Chase Baldwin has been named the Southern Conference men’s golfer of the week for the week of April 9.
Baldwin, a sophomore with a 74.1 stroke average this season, led the Buccaneers against an exceptionally strong field that included 14 ranked teams last week at the Cleveland Golf/Augusta State Invitational. Baldwin placed in a tie for 21st after finishing the event at 5-under par (71-68-72-211), and helped the Bucs to an 11th-place finish in the 17-team event.
ETSU is preparing for postseason play, which begins Friday at the SoCon Championships in Statesboro, Ga.
