King Benevolent Fund is accepting individual care packages for U.S. soldiers. Shoeboxes filled with both essential and comfort items such as toiletries, lip balm, sunscreen, wet wipes, eye drops, stationary, pens, small games, crossword and puzzle books, snacks (hard candy, peanuts, energy bars, trail mix, etc.) powdered sweetened drink mix, AA batteries, etc. Care packages should not be sealed upon delivery at the King Benevolent Fund facility, 1119 Commonwealth Ave., Bristol, Va.
