Dear Editor,
It was with sadness that I read Ms. Melinda Davis’ opinions about religion. (Sept 26, 2005). She seemed focused on a ‘black and white’ world when the truth and reality of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ has brought great joy and wonderful Technicolor into my life.
No longer do I have to wonder if I have made the right decisions. No longer do I “…hope I got it right.”
I now know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, what I should do, and what I should not do for my own protection; physical, mental, emotional and financial protection.
I have great relief and freedom from worry and cares by studying the Bible and trying to model my life and behavior after the only perfect role model, Jesus Christ.
I invite Ms. Davis and all others seeking the truth about life on this earth to read the scripture and let it speak to you.
