Dear Editor,
In his letter in the Oct. 10 issue, Robert Sherman refers to Ludacris as “a man who is so cool that he doesn’t even have to spell his own name right.” Then Mr. Sherman asks, “Right?”
Wrong.
“Ludicrous” may be the correct spelling for an English word, but personal names may be spelled any way their bearers choose. “Ludacris” is correct if Ludacris wants it that way, as are names like Beatles, Barbra, Britney, Lil’Kim and INXS.
