Football not a one-sided issue
Dear Editor,
Who is BJ Smith and where has he/she been for the last few months? Certainly not reading the East Tennessean or listening to people on campus.
In his/her letter to the editor in the March 29  issue,  BJ Smith begins by saying, “I think there is something that everyone reading this can agree on. Football will improve ETSU, no question there.”
What does BJ think all the commotion is about?
I hesitate to think this ignorance is deliberate obfuscation.
There is in fact, a great deal of disagreement about whether football will improve ETSU. By no means can everyone agree.
