Everyone has a last chance to donate to this year’s Holiday Food Drive.The Holiday Drive, hosted by Staff Senate, Faculty Senate and Student Government Association, has been extended to Nov. 15 to allow students and staff another chance to donate.

So far, the drive has not been able to keep their promise of providing approximately 400 holiday baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Instead, only enough food has been gathered for about 150 baskets. They have earned only $790 of the $3,000 needed to provide food gift cards.

Items that are being accepted for the drive include stuffing mixes, cans of peas, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce and a dessert mix. If you have extra items in your pantry that you know you won’t be eating, feel free to donate those, too.

Cash is also accepted for gift cards, and every dollar is greatly appreciated.

Families near ETSU and the surrounding community are counting on tremendous generosity so they can enjoy the holiday season as well.

Even small donations can go a long way in helping families in need.

The Staff Senate, Faculty Senate and SGA would like to thank everyone for their kind support.

Volunteers throughout campus will be accepting donations. Below is a list of locations on campus. Mail checks (made payable to ETSU) to Lisa Booher, Box 23042, Staff Senate Treasurer.
