Dear Editor,
I was really looking forward to the “non-offensive” rap show that snuck into the schedule late last semester. While perhaps not as culturally stimulating as Henry Rollins or the Tibetan monks who are at Lees McRae this week, we can learn a lot from a man who is so cool that he doesn’t even have to spell his own name right. Right?
I am “sad/disappointed” to hear that we have lost the Ludacris show. After all, I was hoping to scalp my two tickets to townies who would be more culturally appreciative than I am.
I lost my car keys once, but never a million dollars that belonged to other people. Now we are facing a protracted and possibly expensive legal circus. I am struck by the realization that we are hemorrhaging money on projects like Ludacris and a bell tower, among others.
While you have our collective wallet out, please feel free to buy new books for the library (Building 39 on the map). Also consider a parking structure and a couple of Weezer CDs for the bell tower.
