* Missing teenager Elizabeth Smart, who was reported abducted from her bedroom last summer, was found alive Wednesday and reunited with her family. Brian David Mitchell, 49, identified as a drifter who did some work in the family’s home and had been sought for questioning in the case, is in police custody. Police were tipped to Smart’s whereabouts by a caller who saw her with two other people pass a billboard with her picture on it identifying her as a missing person.
