ETSU’s men’s tennis doubles tandem of Diego Iglesias and Moises Serrano have been named the TIAA-CREF SoCon student athletes of the week. The duo hold a perfect 4-0 record in the second position (doubles) overall with a perfect 2-0 record in SoCon play. Iglesias and Serrano started off last week defeating The Citadel’s David Lara and Warren Woolfolk, 8-5, on Friday, March 21. The following day, they defeated College of Charleston’s Eyal Omid and Liran Kling, 8-5.
Iglesias, a junior from Mar del Plata, Argentina, maintains a 3.93 GPA overall while majoring in business management. Serrano, sophomore physics major from Bucaramanga, Columbia, holds a 3.91 GPA.
