ETSU is accepting applications for the Jerry and Sheila Dodson Memorial Scholarship for 2003-2004.
This scholarship was established by friends and co-workers in memory of Jerry Dodson, a long-time employee of the Johnson City Power Board (JCPB), where he was manager of engineering, and his wife, Sheila Dodson, who was a clerical/support staff member in the Undergraduate Admissions office at ETSU.
The Dodson’s daughter, Andrea, is a 1996 graduate of ETSU, and their younger daughter, Erica, will graduate from the university this spring.
To be considered for this scholarship, an applicant must be a dependent of a person employed by the JCPB or ETSU. The applicant must also be an entering freshman with at least a 2.5 overall grade point average or composite score of at least 19 on the ACT, or be a transfer or currently enrolled student with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5.
