Dear Editor,
I’ve heard enough complaining about the parking at ETSU. There are plenty of parking places without the need for special lots for commuters. What an absurd and idiotic idea. What makes you so special as a commuter? What’s next, calls for a valet lot for you “special” commuters?
I commute and I never have problems parking. As a matter of fact, any time I have ever needed to park on ETSU’s campus I have always been able to find a parking space, so I am dumbfounded as to what the “problem” may be.
Oh that’s right, there isn’t a parking problem at all. The real problem lies in the lazy students who think they are too good to walk 5-10 minutes to attend class.
Oh, and that freezing weather. It was a whopping 3 degrees Celsius this evening as I walked to class, so I don’t think anyone is in danger of succumbing to exposure on our vast wilderness of a campus.
Here’s a suggestion for you: stop circling the lot endlessly and looking stupid, park your car, and walk. Judging from some of the people I see, a few extra steps won’t hurt you.
