Oct. 27- Nov 1 is Homecoming Week at ETSU, and festivities are in full swing all across campus. One well-known tradition that is a student body favorite is the Homecoming Banners displayed in the Culp Center throughout the week.

This year’s Homecoming theme is “Red, White, Blue and Gold,” named to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. Student groups, Greek Life and other campus organizations participate each year to create unique, spirited banners based on the annual homecoming theme.

Peyton Gentry, Roan Scholar Class of 2027 and College of Public Health ambassador stated, “I have been fortunate enough to serve as Banner Chair on the Homecoming Committee for three years now, and this year we have some of the best-designed and executed banners I’ve seen. I’m very excited to see the judges’ results and enjoy the rest of this week’s festivities.”

Other Homecoming events this week include the ETSU Blood Drive, Senior Street Painting, Big American Classic Volleyball, and the ETSU vs. Tennessee Tech Football Game on Saturday, Oct. 31.
