A staffer from the station’s “Kevin & Bean” morning show called French President Jacques Chirac, posing as the comedian. Reportedly, the impersonator was so good that Chirac actually spoke to him.
To the befuddlement of some, Lewis is a French icon: He holds the Legion of Honor, France’s highest civilian honor. The 77-year-old star is considering a lawsuit against the impersonator and the radio station.
