* While the rest of us are wolfing down “freedom fries” and cracking anti-French jokes, funnyman Jerry Lewis is seething over a French-bashing prank by Los Angeles radio station KROQ. A staffer from the station’s “Kevin & Bean” morning show called French President Jacques Chirac, posing as the comedian. Reportedly, the impersonator was so good that Chirac actually spoke to him.
To the befuddlement of some, Lewis is a French icon: He holds the Legion of Honor, France’s highest civilian honor. The 77-year-old star is considering a lawsuit against the impersonator and the radio station.
