* Laid-back rapper Snoop Dogg is being sued for including a phone message on his latest compact disc. The recording supports Snoop in his bitter rivalry with notorious rap label owner and ex-con Suge Knight.
The man who left the message, a resident of Compton, Calif., who does not want to reveal his identity, claims he has received threats since Paid Tha Cost to be Tha Boss was released in November. Filing the suit as John Doe, he is seeking damages for, among other things, emotional distress.
Many people who purchased Kelly Osbourne’s debut CD are wondering if they can sue with the same complaint.
